The Idea Behind The Impact Practice
After more than two decades working with businesses, governments, international organisations, and civil society partners around the world, Thomas came to a simple conclusion.
Many organisations wait too long to change. They seek support when performance is declining, resources are shrinking, risks are increasing, or opportunities have already been missed. Yet the strongest organisations are those that invest in leadership, strategy, systems, and people before challenges become crises.
At the same time, he saw extraordinary expertise in every region of the world. Time and again, the most effective solutions came not from generic models or outside experts, but from bringing together the right combination of experience, perspectives, and local insight around a specific challenge.
These observations inspired the creation of The Impact Practice.
Founded in 2024, The Impact Practice was built on the belief that lasting success requires both performance and responsibility.
